A paid subscription provides intelligence briefs on European policy and regulatory developments, delivered by email approximately every two weeks, with updates when new developments materially affect a prior brief. The free newsletter provides a public edition on a separate cadence.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Founding subscriber pricing remains in effect for as long as the subscription remains active and continuously held.
We can suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, for example by sharing your subscription outside your organisation or reselling briefs, or if payment fails and isn’t corrected within a reasonable time. Where we can, we’ll tell you why first.
Your subscription is personal. You may share briefs with colleagues within your own organisation. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute briefs outside your organisation, in whole or substantial part, without written permission. Quoting short excerpts with attribution is welcome.
You won’t use the briefs to train, fine-tune, or benchmark any AI or machine-learning model, or feed them into an automated system that republishes or resells the analysis. You won’t scrape, systematically download, or attempt to circumvent how the service is delivered. And you won’t use the service for anything unlawful.
All briefs and site content are the copyright of thenewsis. Underlying facts are, of course, free for anyone to use.
We may adjust delivery cadence, format, or scope, and will tell subscribers when we do. If we discontinue the paid service, subscribers are refunded pro rata for any unused period.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially affects your rights, we’ll tell subscribers by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that counts as accepting the update.
The service is provided as we currently run it, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We do our best to keep it running reliably, but we don’t promise it.
The briefs are professional analysis provided in good faith. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions taken in reliance on them. See the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
You agree to cover any losses we face arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms, for example unauthorised redistribution of briefs.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
